The formula
Bricks per ft² = 144 ÷ ((brick length + joint) × (brick height + joint))
Bricks = net wall area × bricks per ft² × (1 + waste)

Tips before you order
- Standard modular brick with ⅜ in joints works out to about 6.9 bricks per square foot.
- Order 5–10% extra for cuts and breakage, and buy from one batch to keep the color consistent.
