Across the U.S., gravel typically costs $10–$50 per ton. Prices run lowest in Arkansas, Mississippi, South Dakota and highest in California, District of Columbia, New Jersey.

What drives gravel prices
Gravel is cheap to produce and expensive to move, so the distance from the quarry often matters more than the stone itself. Decorative stone and washed, screened products cost more than crusher run and road base.
